Anna Natt Will Come from Berlin to Teach Beginning - Advanced Workshops at Anda Flamenco Spring 2014

I will be teaching Milonga with fan and Fandangos with castanets over
the course of 4 days. In this workshop special attention will be placed
on how to use tools such as a fan or castanets as an extension of the
body, rather than isolated from it. Developing this awareness will
allow dancers to use these elements more lyrically within a
choreography.
Dancing Soleá requires a certain “peso” and groundedness. A Soleá
marking and footwork technique class will be offered on the weekend
where we will focus on this quality of movement. This class is aimed at
beginning level students, but dancers of any level are welcome!
